About RelationshipSignal

See what is actually happening before automatically repeating it.

RelationshipSignal turns recurring relationship dynamics into practical patterns you can recognize, examine, and respond to more intentionally in everyday life.

Why RelationshipSignal exists

Different problems can keep pulling us back into the same positions.

Relationship difficulties often appear through different subjects: responsibilities, money, family, communication, decisions, distance, expectations, or repeated arguments.

The subject may change while part of the relational dynamic remains familiar.

One person may keep explaining. One may keep fixing. One may take on more responsibility. One may push while the other withdraws. One may try to manage what actually belongs to another adult.

RelationshipSignal begins by making those positions visible. Because it is difficult to intentionally change a pattern that we have not yet identified.

A practical starting point

Identification creates the possibility of choice.

When a recurring position remains outside our awareness, it can feel like the only possible response. Once we can recognize it, there is more room to distinguish, reconsider, and choose what we do next.

The background

Built from years of direct work with relationship patterns.

RelationshipSignal grew from more than twelve years of direct work with people navigating recurring relationship dynamics — observing what creates clarity, what keeps people repeating familiar positions, and how insight can become something usable in everyday life.

Practical

Built for real-life use

RelationshipSignal focuses on turning complex relationship dynamics into clear observations, useful distinctions, and actions that can be applied in everyday life.

Practical by design

The goal is not more theory about relationships.

RelationshipSignal is designed around a more functional question: can you recognize what is happening clearly enough to choose what you do next?

Insight becomes more useful when it can be translated into an observable distinction, a clearer position, or one practical action.

That is why the work repeatedly returns to responsibility, position, collaboration, boundaries, and the difference between reacting automatically and responding intentionally.

A useful framework should help you:

  • identify what is actually repeating;
  • recognize the position you tend to occupy;
  • distinguish your responsibility from another adult's;
  • notice when helping becomes taking over;
  • interrupt automatic and reactive responses;
  • choose one clearer action that can be applied in real life.

The RelationshipSignal Method

From automatic reaction to a clearer next position.

RelationshipSignal organizes the process into five practical steps.

01

Notice

Recognize what appears to be repeating.

02

Locate

Identify the position you tend to occupy inside the pattern.

03

Separate

Distinguish your responsibility from another person's responsibility.

04 · THE SHIFT

Reposition

Choose a clearer position instead of repeating automatically.

05

Integrate

Bring that new position into one concrete real-world action.

The creator

Luiz Albertini

Luiz Albertini is the creator of RelationshipSignal and has worked for more than twelve years with relationship dynamics, recurring interpersonal patterns, personal positioning, responsibility, boundaries, and change.

Across more than 1,500 client relationships, his work has increasingly focused on a practical question: how can complex observations become something a person can actually recognize and use in a real relationship situation?

His broader background includes long-term study and practice in yoga philosophy and Vedanta, meditation, the BodyTalk System, systemic constellation work, attention, breathing, and practical education.

RelationshipSignal does not require people to adopt any of those systems as beliefs or explanations. They form part of a broader background of study and observation, while RelationshipSignal itself is deliberately built around practical distinctions that can be examined and applied in everyday relationship situations.

Clear boundaries

Educational guidance, not clinical treatment.

RelationshipSignal provides educational and reflective resources for ordinary relationship patterns. It does not diagnose or treat medical or mental-health conditions, replace therapy or legal advice, or guarantee a particular relationship outcome.
